- Order info: name, email, shipping and billing address, phone number
- Account info: email and password (passwords are hashed; we never see them)
- Newsletter info: email address if you subscribe
- Messages: anything you send us through the contact form, email, or phone

- Pages you visit and how you interact with the site
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see below)
How we use your information
- To process and ship your orders
- To send order confirmations, shipping updates, and respond to your questions
- To send marketing emails — only if you’ve opted in
- To improve the site and understand which products customers love
- To prevent fraud and protect our customers
- To comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, etc.)
Who we share with
We never sell your personal information. We share only what’s necessary with:
- Stripe— to process payments securely
- Shippo / shipping carriers— to ship your order
- Resend— to deliver order confirmation and notification emails
- Supabase— to host customer accounts and order history
- Vercel— to host the website
- Google Analytics— to understand site traffic in aggregate
- Law enforcement, when legally required
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies for two purposes:
- Necessary cookieskeep your shopping cart and login session working. These can’t be turned off.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) help us see which pages and products are most useful. These are anonymous and aggregated.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site (cart, checkout, login) may not work correctly.
Your choices and rights
- Access: log into your account to view your order history, or email us
- Correct or delete: email hello@crystalsandcuriosities.net with your request
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link at the bottom of any email
- California, EU, and UK residentsmay have additional rights under their local laws — contact us and we will help you exercise them
Data retention
We keep order records as long as required by tax and accounting law (typically 7 years). Account data is kept until you ask us to delete it. Newsletter signups are kept until you unsubscribe.
Security
We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS) for all data in transit. Payment card details never touch our servers — they go directly to Stripe. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
Our site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We’ll update the “Last updated” date when this policy changes. For material changes, we’ll post a notice on the site or email customers.
